How the Godfather of Wallets Was Born
Traveled to Tuscany to hand-select twenty-one varieties of the most natural, artisan vegetable-tanned leathers—materials rarely used by major brands due to their non-standardized nature. The wallet was engineered for longevity using the English seam, a time-tested double-folded edge technique that eliminates failing edge paint. Finally, our skilled artisans in Ubrique, Spain, brought the design to life.

100% Italian Leather
Tanned solely with natural plant extracts, vegetable tanning is the oldest and most traditional method of transforming hides into leather. This process creates a dense, heavy material that responds to touch and the environment, developing a deeper, shinier patina as it interacts with sunlight and oxygen. In Tuscany, generations of artisan families have perfected this craft, preserving and refining techniques passed down through centuries.
Because our veg-tan leather has minimal finish, it isn’t water-resistant and marks easily. Scratches will form naturally and become part of its character. Avoid sharp or abrasive surfaces if you want fewer marks.
