I measured as directed (I have a 32 inch waist in most brands, but additionally measured according to the instructions on the site) and wound up with two belts that are wrong. Both belts are size 34, but they're both *very* different sizes -- the more casual one is way longer than the dressier (Griffin) one, and even the dressier one fits best on the very last hole, which one generally tries to avoid. (The more casual one is just too big.) The return policy requires me to foot the bill for my own shipping, and I also already wore one of the belts multiple times (because I had no other option), so I'm generally pretty unhappy with this purchase. The leather itself is very nice, but I just can't understand how a belt company could possibly get this stuff wrong. It's just measurement!
excellent touch-feel and quality. Excellent value.
Sizing is “generous”. My actual measured waist is 41 so I ordered a 40, but my pant size is 36”. The belt worked on the last hole but was loose so I ended up using a leather punch to make 2 or 3 additional holes, using the existing spacing as a guide, now it’s good.
The belt is a premium belt: soft leather and great for smart casual wear. The buckle is smart and doesn’t dig into my stomach when sitting.
Very pleased, the sizing needs a better explanation on the website for ordering. I didn’t want to deal with the return for a smaller size and I’m ok with a slightly longer “tail” on the belt, so for me punching additional holes was no big deal.
Superb product, it’s worn every other day.
