At age eleven, Tanner tanned five sheepskins to create his first leather jacket. Since then, what started as a play has become a lifetime passion. Tanner was once a cab driver in Chicago, sold textiles in New York, and worked as a Consultant in corporate America before returning to leather crafting. With 20 years of experience in different aspects of leather across five different countries, Tanner now dedicates himself to helping people understand and utilize leather to its best potential.
